Natural Gas

Natural gas futures prices are battling their way back after January 2020 contracts plummeted over 20 cents the day following Thanksgiving.

Today’s withdrawal of 19 Bcf brings total gas in storage to 3,591 Bcf. 591 Bcf more than this time last year.

Electricity

The 30 day average price of real time power continues to rise steadily as winter weather continues to settle across the Northeast, now up to $26.68/MWh.

Electricity futures have dropped below $30/MWh for just the 4th time in over 18 months.
