March Gas Settles at $1.821
Natural Gas
March 2020 gas contracts reached final settle yesterday at $1.821/MMBtu. The contract traded as low as $1.766/MMBtu during it’s time as the front-month.
Today’s withdrawal of 143 Bcf was less than expected and added more downward momentum to futures prices.
Electricity
The 30 day average price of real time power has rebounded slightly from last week, up 46 cents from last week.
Energy futures sank back after a brief rebound last week. The 12 month strip is down $1.73/MWh from this time last week.
